About Us

The Farmers Insurance Group of Companies was founded in 1928 when Farmers Insurance Exchange, an automobile insurer, was formed. As customers demand for additional insurance services increased, the Fire Insurance Exchange and Truck Insurance Exchange were established for home and commercial insurance needs. Today, the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies is the one of the country's largest writer of both private passenger automobile and homeowners insurance.

John Williams grew up in the Insurance world, his grandfather was an Insurance agent and his father is going on 30 plus years. His knowledge of the industry and long family history are a major benefit to all Farmers clients. When Mr. Williams took to the ranks of Farmers Insurance he set forth a goal to make Farmers the top brand in his market. Our Farmers Future 2010 is a major achievement goal for this company. Mr. Williams’s addition of key personnel, and highly trained Bi-Lingual staff provide the best service around. These small steps brought in clients who know what it means to be a Farmers client. “ When I sat down with Agents from other companies after Hurricane Katrina, I was amazed at how other companies reacted.” Mr. Williams recently said. Farmers Insurance took the first steep in the rebuilding effort in the second largest market, Texas. “ We not only were on the ground first, but had a full claims team in place and provided our own power generator to the city of Beaumont.” Farmers Insurance takes pride in how your claim is handled, and our award winning claims team is ready to help any time. Personal History

John Williams is a California native and grew up in the Laguna Beach area. He attended San Diego State University and received his Bachelors Degree. While attending SDSU Mr. Williams was very involved with his community. Sitting on numerous boards and committees. Today Mr. Williams still has the same desire to work in his community. He is currently a Commissioner for the City of Temecula and assisted with the campaign of Assemblyman Kevin Jefferies of the 66th district. Mr. Williams is also a member of the local chambers and is an Ambassador for the Temecula Chamber.
